Question about taking something apart (knitting)

I just finished my first sweater and though I measured the length of the sleeves many times, the sleeves are an inch or two too long. I guess it's from the weight of the yarn hanging. Is there any way to take apart the stitches from the bottom just to shorten it? I don't want to take apart both sleeves and start from scratch if I don't have to.

You could undo the seams, and unravel and redo the upper part of the sleeves.

Or, you could cut the sleeves above the ribbing, unravel to the length you want, then put the sleeve and ribbing on two needles and kitchener stitch them together.

But, it will be much easier to just unravel them, and start them over.
