I am currently on a weight loss journey. Well, I actually have been on that journey for the past few years.
Are any of the rest of you trying to lose weight?

I have now reached that over 60 age when it is even harder to lose weight. I can manage to lose a little but I don't seem to be able to keep it off anymore. I got my best results with the Atkins Diet but as soon as I started adding back a few carbs it was over. My problem is that I like food, I mean I REALLY like food.
I am sitting here in my "boot" for a torn in-step tendon. That means I can't even do my favorite exercise - walking. I need a yarn project that will keep me busy and the mystery afghan is just the ticket.

I keep telling myself, 1 lb a week = 52 lbs in a year, more than halfway to my desired weight. Maybe now that I put it out there publicly, will force me to try harder. Lots of luck to those of you who are trying!
