PUZZLE TWO

After finishing up their clues from CAL#1, our happy crocheters Anna, Bonnie, Chella, Lucas, and Paris,returned to their WIP (works in progress.) Can you figure out which day each person returned to their work, the item that they were working on, and the mishap they encountered? The days are 2/16,2/17,2/`8,2/19, and 2/20. No two people began on the same day. The items are hat, scarf, lapghan, shawl, cat bed.

1. Bonnie began on 2/16. The lapghan was begun the day after the item whose pattern was eaten by dog (which was not Lucas’s project).
2. Anna did not begin on 2/20. The person who lost their yarn, but who did find it in another basket later that same day, did not begin on 2/19.
3. Neither the shawl (which was not the last WIP) nor the cat bed was the WIP that was the wrong size for intended recipient.
4. The scarf was begun on 2/17. Lucas resumes his hat on 2/19.
5. Poor Chella worked along using the wrong size hook. She had to frog it out so her work would all be even. The person that began on 2/18 ran out of yarn and had to go to craft store that same day to buy some more.
6. Paris resumed her WIP earlier than Anna.

PUZZLE 3
Our FIVE crafty friends, Anna, Bonnie, Chella, Lucas, and Paris decided to make another afghan for charity. This time they were not going to design their own squares but instead use a motif from the 2010 CAL by Bernat. Each volunteered to try one motif, one is shell stitch square,and everyone learned a new technique too! At the end of a busy day, each starting their hooking at a different time, 3, 4:30, 6, 7:30 or 9 PM.. Can you figure out which motif each person made, the new technique they learned, and at what time they started?
1. Bonnie, who did not learn how to weave in ends, began her squares exactly before 4 ½ hours before Anna began crocheting. The person who learned the v stitch began at 7:30.
2. Either Paris (who did not make the big granny square) or Chella was proud to learn how to make double crochet instead of 3 turning chains. The person who made the mitered squares learned how to wind their yarn with center pull skein before they began.
3. Lucas began his project before Bonnie did. Chella did not make the flower motif, nor the big granny square.
4. The happy person who learned how to find the yarn end in the center of the skein got an early start at 3 pm. Paris started exactly three hours later than the person who made the stripey square.

Can anyone figure out the easiest way to seam these motifs together with the least amount of ends to be woven in.
Made some motifs to see how they went and was thinking about making an afghan for my neighbor. But it looks like life long task sewing them all together! Cannot Mapquest it for shortest route.

I just found this thread - I love logic puzzles!

I've solved all the ones posted so far, do you have any plans to the last two?

Props to you for writing these, while I can solve the easily, I can't wrap my head around trying to write one.
