I will be joining in from Alberta. I'm excited to get started but also glad I have a bit of time to finish up a couple of projects currently in progress.

Grande Prairie, Alberta here ... I'm doing the crochet version and my yarn is on order.

My mom lives in Edmonton, Alberta (5 hours drive from me) and we're doing this "together" over the internet!

I'm excited to see what colours she chooses and how her's looks. I'm making this for my sister but I haven't told her yet, it will be a nice surprise!

I hope everyone has fun, I know I will! I might do the knitted version later.

Joining in from Ontario and doing the kal. Got my Needles out today to check my gauge and am ready to go. Working on a preemie blanket and hope to have it finished before the kal starts up.

I'm from Flatrock, Newfoundland... Just outside St. John's. I can't wait for the Cal/Kal to begin. I ordered my wool from the bernat website. All I can say is it came fast! I love my colours and the texture and feel of this wool is devine.

Michaels had a few select Waverly colours on sale the last few weeks in Canada. I bought mine on Monday and they had just been put on clearance for $3.99/ball...hope this helps anyone still looking for yarn in Canada! This is my first KAL. Can't wait!

Hi, I live in Gatineau, Québec and work in Ottawa, Ontario. I've got one leg in each province!

I have been known to search for yarn over the entire National Capital region (56 km from one end to the other)! What is available in Qc is not necessarily easy to find in Ontario and vice versa. I will be going to Ottawa's Michaels tomorrow to Check out this deal on the Waverly. Only 1 of our local Zellers stores has it (but not all the colours) and the Walmarts not at all (although they have other Bernat). I'm so glad I ordered mine and it only took a week. What makes me a little sad though is that a Canadian based product (label says packaged in Canada and HQ address is in Ontario) is not as easily available, especially in the nation's capital, and not even available online without having to go through the United States!

I'm excited for the KAL too and am doing a second swatch this week-end.
I found that the price of the yarn on the website with the 25% off and free shipping came out to the same price as at Zellers and I got the colours and quantities I wanted.
