I've just finished my first clue 2 square and love the texture of this square. Three more to go!
Happy knitting!

Two of the biggest problems are on the row when I dropped a stitch I was in the process of tinking and once I fixed the stitch I had forgotten I was going backwards, not forwards, so you can see the mistake. The other problem might be fixed and become unnoticable during construction. It is lopsided? No idea how that happened. Oh well, I dare anyone who sees this finished afghan in person to do better if they say anything and were not a knitter! It is sitting on my 9.5" template.
Thanks for all the tips.

I have just finished my first Clue #2 square. The width works fine with just a tiny stretch. However, I had calculated approx 58 rows according to the gauge, seemed a little short so worked 60 rows. Still think I could have added a few extra rows.
Has anyone counted their rows for Clue 2. Please let me know your row count. Thanks

I knitted 84 rows! However, I am also using a size 6 U.S. needle to get the gauge. This makes it the right size for me.
And mine comes out at 68 rows with 4.5 mm needles. When I did the little stretch for width I needed to add one last set of the two-row pattern. On the back I count 34 long stockinette stitches per column in the shape of à "v".

The video of making the Shaker Rib was immensely helpful. Without it, the stitch did not make sense (K1Below?), but it was surprisingly easy once thoroughly explained.
Attached is an sample of each of my squares in the various color combinations.
