It's normally pretty easy to tell a purl stitch from a knit stitch in more other ribs, but the extra strands in this stitch pattern throw me, and I have had to cast on and start over three times already, just because I don't know how to fix one stitch and make it look right. I apologize if this already has been answered on this forum; just point me to it, please -- or am I the only one too dense to figure it out?

I made a video on YouTube, that shows how to undo the stitches in that pattern, one at a time.

I hope it helps!

Shandeh, how are you feeling now? Did your appointment this morning go well?

I found having pin on my knit side helped remind me what row I am working on...though I find when I am tired I need to stop with this stitch...it becomes too much for my poor brain to handle ;)

Thanks for asking! :)
My appointment with the endodontist went very well. He did the root canal, and was able to save my crown! :D

All the pain is erased, and I took a long 5 hour nap this afternoon, with no pain at all. Wonderful :cloud9:

Now, I just have to finish taking all my antibiotics, so the infection doesn't come back.
And it will be a few days before I can eat normal food again.

As soon as that tooth feels strong enough, I'm gonna have the biggest steak I've ever had before!
Watch out everybody at Outback Steakhouse! Shandeh is COMING THROUGH!

I know how you feel! I remember when I knit the Bernat Cable Yoke Sweater. I think I went a little insane when working all the different stitches in that pattern. :?

But, I was SO PLEASED when the project was finished.

I don't know what you were thinking either but I sure do admire your (and others) ambition! :bravo:

Wow, that is pretty! I am going to make something like that when I am done. By the time I finish the KAL I think I'll be able to do it with confidence (not to mention correct gauge  )

I agree but was afraid to post this on the forum because I see alot of KALers ripping their hair (and their squares) out while working on Clue #2. I found it to be a very relaxing pattern but I made sure to take it slow on the non-knit side. I can picture a relaxed pullover in this wonderful squishy shaker rib.

Meanwhile I'm anxiously awaiting Clue #3 in a few days. Happy knitting :)
