Knit-Along Clue 2

I found having pin on my knit side helped remind me what row I am working on...though I find when I am tired I need to stop with this stitch...it becomes too much for my poor brain to handle

I know how you feel! I remember when I knit the Bernat Cable Yoke Sweater. I think I went a little insane when working all the different stitches in that pattern.

What am I doing wrong? I have tried this about 5 or 6 times and on my second row when I knit below it looks like I have dropped a stitch and have a big hole. I consider myself an intermediate knitter but this has me stumped. Help!

You can test the pattern in a smaller swatch. Use 15 or any uneven number of stitches, bravely forge ahead with several repeats of the two rows and compare it with the look in the posted photos. I'll bet you are working the stitches correctly.

Finished clue 2 for KAL Since I have the extra time, decided to do the CAL why not since I purchased extra Bernat (I love this yarn ) and your You Tube Video has inspired me to try the CAL. Thanks for the "How To" videos. Glad to hear most of your dental problems are almost over.

I have made quite a few sweaters that I wear. I have never made one with careful attention to guage though, and this is especially important when making clothes!

YAY! I finished Clue #2!! Woohoo! I'm so happy with these Shaker Rib squares and I love the color and the Waverly yarn!! So now I can get my first completion badge!! So excited! While I'm waiting for Clue #3 I'm going to work on a Clue 1 square because I have 4 of them yet to get done. So...

I'm of the same mind about this. I love the way that things are turning out, but I'm anxious to get some of each colour knit up.

I'm finding it very difficult to count my rows....I forgot to start my row counter on the end of my needle, and I don't always remember to change it after I finish a row. Is each 'v' equivalent to 2 rows? Normally it is one row, but since we are picking up the stitch below, does that make it 2 rows?
I KNOW I've knit more that 36 rows, but that's how many 'v's I count from top to bottom.

i also ended up with 36 v's in the finished square.
