You are very brave to take on a blanket project in the midst of getting ready to move. :notworthy:

Brave or crazy.. not sure which

Well.....I wasn't gonna say that. Good luck, my friend!
By the way, are you moving out of the Carolinas?

Nope. Just moving to a larger house about 10 minutes away from where we live now. 3 growing kids in a small house has become crazy and we're really looking forward to having more space for everyone to spread out a bit.

Wow this is going slowly. I'm finally on the last square for clue 2, but it feels like it's taking forever.

I only have about 18 days until my son's birthday, and I am no where near finished. I guess maybe I should start planning to have it done for Christmas instead. :rainy:

I've had to do that many times myself. It's so hard to predict how long it will take to create things. I'm sure that giving yourself more time with this blanket will make it much more enjoyable. :)

I've been so busy packing that I haven't added a single stitch since I last posted. On the upside, we close on FRIDAY!!! We have painted going in first thing next week, and a week from now we will be unpacking! Too bad my hubby packed all my stash yarn in the very back of everything. Luckily, my CAL yarn is all still out and will be moving in my van so I can start working on it again when I get to finally relax in the evenings after long days of unpacking and organizing. My son doesn't seem too upset that it won't be ready for his birthday (also this Friday!), especially since he's so excited about finally getting his own room that will have a sports theme!

Girl, it sounds like this will be a perfect time to bond with your family, without the yarn getting in the way.

I am REALLY looking forward to seeing your posts when the yarn is out again! You are gonna have a YARN FIESTA!!! :cloud9:
