My ribbing also looks more even on the wrong side as written. The ribbing on the right side has a bumpier appearance. Not sure which one I like better. This square seems to be going much faster. I should be able to easily catch up with the one block I still need to do from clue 1. I might even be able to get started on the CAL now.

Can you post a photo? It will be easier to help with visuals :)

Have posted in spoiler 2 section. Thanks.

All the templates for the KAL are the same size. So if you have last weeks you are good to go. Or cut yourself a 9.5 inch square and use that.

I almost finished a ball of contrast D for just 4 squares still have to do 4 more. Now you say I will need 2 balls for clue 2. Don't know what I am doing wrong. First clue came almost to 9 1/2. I think i might need another ball of D. Is any one else having this problem?

You should have only used contrast D for four of the eight squares in clue one so you should be ok...

This looks like a fun square, will be starting it soon. Just to double-check, I should use larger kneedles to cast off but the same size used for the square to cast on. Is this correct?
Clue 1: 5 of 8 completed, may re-do 2
Clue 2: 3 of 4 completed
Clue 3: 5 of 8 completed, will re-do 1

This fabric will naturally stretch over time, so having an 8 1/2" square right now is okay - but did you remember to stretch it widthwise to 9 1/2"? When you do that it becomes a little shorter - so make sure you have the rows to reach the right height when the fabric is stretched.

Kaleigh, I'm just curious about something. You said that this "Clue 2 square" fabric will naturally stretch over time. So does that mean that after it is stretched in the blocking, and then one day washed, it won't shrink back up to the size it was before the blocking like a lot of knitting does? Because if it does, then the blanket will get wonky where those squares are. Or will the square not shrink back up? :hrmm:

I'm a little behind, I must be a slow knitter. I still have two more squares to knit off clue one. I'm going to have to pick up speed this week. :scared:
