Not at all!
I am still working on clue 1, I have 4.5 squares finished so far. Will finish square 5 tonight (as long as I get off the forums!) I did not begin clue 2 today.

I really like how this square is looking. I too am unsure as to which side I like better. The Waverly is great to knit with.

Yeah. Use the normal sized needles for the square. Then switch to a larger needle to cast off, so the bind-off edge is not too tight.

There are SEVERAL other knitters who are still working on Clue 1. You are definitely not alone.

It's really difficult for me to complete the last square and a half of my KAL when the clue #2 of the CAL is soooo cute!

Ugh!! I was doing so well on my 1st block but then made a mistake. Undoing has been impossible! I tried undoing stitch by stitch but couldn't undo the K1below correctly. I then tried to pick up a row of knits below the mistake and but when I redo it's not coming out right. I'm afraid I'm going to have to start all over again. This block was almost done! Hopefully it will look better in the morning. :hrmm:

Is anyone else having a problem with clue #2? I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong and have started over 4 times. Although I watched the video for the 'knit below the knit stitch', I keep ending up with holes at the bottom corners of the square. I am frustrated enough to consider substituting my own pattern for the 4 squares.

Can you post a photo of the holes you are talking about?

This brings up a good question: Is it possible to "tink" the K1below stitch? :hrmm: If it is possible, how do you do it?

I haven't had to undo any stitches yet, but you never know when you might need to. :idonno: Any :helpme: would be appreciated on this. Thanks! ;)

i was worried about this, too, so i took the time to do a few stitches really slowly to try to understand what was going on with it. the stitch basically unravels and so you end up having to tink down to the lower stitch and then pick it up like you normally would with a crochet hook (or whatever). i think i get it, but am still nervous to have to put it into use if i mess up later in the square.

i wonder if Bernat would be kind enough to provide us with a video on how to pick up stitches with this...
