The tutorial shows how to knit one below in stockinette. Is there a tutorial on how to knit one below in the garter stitch?

I also keep getting a big hole in the bottom corner of my square. It's not the corner with my cast on tail...but it's the other corner...I've already ripped it all out and started over twice...any help would be appreciated. Thanks! :helpme:

Can you post a photo that shows the hole?

I will try to make a video showing how to do that.
I might not be able to talk a lot, because I have a bad toothache tonight. :(

My attempt at posting the mystery "hole".

(Sorry! Shandeh had to remove photo, since this is not the spoiler thread.)

I just wanted to share a funny thought I had about the knit/right side of the Clue 2 square. I think the stitches look like knit stitches with perms! Maybe it is time to put the needles down and go to bed, hey :?:

Thanks for the photo.

It almost looks like a stitch was missed or something. I wonder how that happened?
What kind of cast on did you use?

I did the cast on with one needle and a longer tail. And the hole is at the opposite side of the tail. After casting on, I did the 1 row of knit. The next row I did 1 knit, then the knit 1 below...and it was impossible to get that tight...I thought it would even out as I continued, but it didn't.

Did you start with a slip knot, or did you just drape the yarn over the needle to start?
