I included in the clue introduction that this is not shaker rib. The pattern looks like it might be, but instead it's always offset by a stitch, creating a "seed stitch" sort of pattern as somebody else mentioned.
Temperature Scarf KAL: Bernat Satin, corrugated ribbing.

Is your sister going to do the others again? :D

Yep! I already sent most of the yarn to her, and kept enough of each color to make one square of each clue. I'm going to send the squares to her, and she can use them, or unravel and make them again. She may decide to re-arrange the colors a bit. She lives in California, and I live in North Carolina, so this is a bi-coastal project!

That is wonderful! :bravo:

Thanks! :) I might have to use the stitch pattern for the 2nd half as a towel topper.

Clue number TWO was Shaker Rib.

This clue (number THREE) is a different pattern.

You can see a good close up here:

I am thankful for these photos...helped me see what is now a glaring error in my first square of Clue 2.
Finished the first half and one repeat of the second half of my first square for Clue 3 last night. When I woke up by accident earlier than I had to today I poured coffee took the opportunity to knit a few rows.
Pattern looked a little odd but since its a mystery...thought maybe it was just me.
Probaly would have continued as it was had I not looked at others photo's.
Thankfully I only have a small portion to rip out.

Thats what I get for knitting with my eyes half closed. ;)

Kaleigh wrote:I started blocking last night, so here's a photo of some of my blocks from Clues 1 & 3!

You may call me "Captain Overkill:" I borrowed my mom's foam squares for blocking, put tape around the outside so I knew where the limits were, measured 9.5" on each side, marked them, put tape down the middle, marked that at 9.5" both ways in the middle, and put tape intersecting going the other way. Then I hand-washed the squares, squeezed the water out with a towel, and pinned each square to its area.

You can see the top two are pinned and the bottom two aren't. I took the needle from the top left and instead used it on one of the shaker rib squares since its sides were pretty wobbly. I don't own an iron, so I'm hoping this does the trick!

How clever! I was going to start blocking my collection of 12 squares and then 10:00 am Wednesday hit and now am off making 8 more! (Well, it really is down to 7 by now, to give myself a little credit) Really like the idea of using tape to section quadrants in the large foam square. That way you can do 4 at a time!
