I use a little different method of keeping track of my rows, writing the number of stitches at the end of the increase rows and a X for the completion of odd number rows. It looks like this, is penciled in as I go along. I put it below pattern directions. Rows Sts./done
8 13 17 21 25 29 33 37 9 X X X X X X X 10 15 19 23 27 31 35 39 11 X X X X X X 55*
* goal

I also like this clue and was surprised how fast it knit up for me. Started it late last night and only expected to finish one half but ended up completeing a whole sqaure. Which is good since we only have to make 4 and I still have 4 do make of Clue 3
Trudi. Thank you Printed off your list and used it to put a check mark beside the number when I did the increase and than added a \ to the checkmark as I finished the pattern row.
I'm looking forward to starting on Clue 4 but since the Clue 3 patterns are logged in my brain I might as well finish my remaining 3 squares before I begin another Clue. Why muddy the waters so to speak.
This square is so refreshing after the last clue. Back to that wonderful, squishy stitch; shaker rib stitch and finishing off with the garter stitch. I still have one square to finish for clue #3, but couldn't wait to try out this clue. I'm not able to post a picture right now...must be that solar storm!
I am nowhere near an experienced enough knitter to recover in this complicated of a pattern - can barely do it in the basic garter.....boo hoo. Ripping out and back to clue 1 for me! It's not like don't still have 3 squares to do there!
