I had an IV last weekend and I think they hit a nerve cuz my hand is still bruised and I cannot grasp anything with my pinky and the ring finger is not working well either.

Will your kids have an upcoming hockey tournament where you can spend some time knitting?![]()
I took today off of work in order to use up some last banked hours before fiscal year end, and got one square done this morning. That was fun!

Gonna finish all of Clue 4 and then experiment with 3 again. Either I'll finally get it or I'll become a designer to figure out a solution!

For clue 3, consider the suggestion to end the first half at 49 stiches and then increase 4 stiches in the next 2 rows. I balked at changing the pattern at first, but it was the only way i could achieve gauge.

I had an IV last weekend and I think they hit a nerve cuz my hand is still bruised and I cannot grasp anything with my pinky and the ring finger is not working well either. I tried doing knitting and it just hurts too much. At least I can crochet so I can keep up with that mystery. I got about an inch of this clue worked and had to call it quits. So this means not only am I behind in clue 3 and 1, but now clue 4 too.darn darn darn!I did try knitting a very small project that had called for size 6 needles, I used a size four and it still ended up way large, proving how important it is to have tension on your yarn. If this keeps up I will have to learn that Portuguese way of doing tension. Sadly, typing this has made my hand start throbbing. So it is off to bed for me. Sure hope our catch up week is soon, right about the time my hand heals would be nice!
PS: My crochet tension is way off too, but at least I can do that in my sleep! I finally figured out correct gauge! Using the recommended hook size now! I had been using 2 sizes larger before! lol Wonder if my crochet gauge will stick around once my hand is healed? It would be nice if I can remember what I am doing so I can keep it
