I am doing the CAL, but keep visiting this forum. I absolutely LOVE the layouts for this blanket. I will be printing off all the clues and doing this in the future. Unfortunately with two small children, crochet fits in better with my time.

Great job everyone! :bravo:

I love them all but there is the one design that really catches my eye - so I tried with a drawing program and my colors and following the lead of the other design I have put together my blocks the same way and I added the border around the side. Still not sure about the measurements as I feel it is not wide enough and there will be something down the middle to make up the difference.

Ooooohhhhh, I really like that! And I just noticed you're in the same region as I am!!! I live in Gatineau but work in downtown Ottawa.

I work in downtown Ottawa too but live in Kanata - I am just loving the weather this week but it's not working out well for me to finish up these squares. Oh and thanks for the great lay-out I love it and hope that it is close to the final layout.

This is to "thelittlereader". I would like to know what colors you are using in your afghan. Thank you. A friend of mine loves those colors.

:notworthy: Okay, boy am I glad to be caught up. I played around with my squares using other peoples pictures with my squares and I think this is what looks cool. Looking forward to tomorrows clue... not looking forward to sewing all of this together! It will be fantastic when it is all finished. What fun fun fun.posting.php?mode=reply&f=181&t=2121#

I love all the examples I've seen. Here are 2 that I came up with. The first one is my favourite, and the second one is a design that my brother came up with (so naturally it's his favourite).
Fingers crossed for a new clue tomorrow.
