I'm a slow knitter, and I'm about 4 squares from being done, but I've been reading and looking at the pics... What's really interesting is that the placement of the 4 center sqaures changes the look of everything. I'm excited to see what mine looks like in both placements...

I'm from the CAL side also and am loving all the KAL results. I hope the CAL's afghan is just as beautiful as the KAL ones are. I just hope we get the layout this week and not a week off. I would have nothing to do this week if that happens. :idonno:

Good job everyone! :bravo: :hellogoodbye:

When I consider the border, I think I like the Bernat suggestion best when I look at all the pictures. K1P1quebec, At least you have a nice picture library of all your possibilities. I am going to take pictures of different patterns too, when I have finished my squares :cloud9:

Your afghan is beautiful--the colors are gorgeous. :bravo: I still have to block my squares, and may have a couple redo's.

Here is the layout I have decided to do. My daughter and her intended did not like the suggested one.

This is the best blend of colors and textures we tried.

I think it looks great, the border will really set it off.

VERY nice! Have fun sewing it all together. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
