Your afghan is beautiful--the colors are gorgeous. :bravo: I still have to block my squares, and may have a couple redo's.

This is fantastic! I love your color choice! Wishing I did the knitted blanket!

:hellogoodbye: I'm sewing away! :knit: I have over half of my blanket sewn together! I'm "sew" glad I'm getting it together now and it won't be too much longer until I can start knitting the border. :cooldude: I'm really glad that the border is decorative and not just plain knitting!! :knit: :cloud9:

Me too, me too! But I'm not quite halfway yet. Taking advantage of a girl's night in (I'm the only girl in this household so it's a little lonely!). Phoned my mum the quilter to say, "Now I know why you often phone me to chat when you're piecing a quilt!". We can yak away while hands are busy with repetitive work! But she wasn't home. :tears: So you're all invited over! Bring your own brownies!

Here is what I've accomplished in the last hour with invisible seaming method:

Very good idea! I loved laying out the squares from different people's ideas and it makes your brain whiz because it starts seeing more and more. I just love the versatility of these squares and it really allows people to choose what they like. And if you get to talking with someone once your blanket is done, and they'd like to try it but maybe a little differently, then you can show them your album (or design scrapbook if you really want to get into this project on another level...but I'm all scrapbooked out for awhile.)

Here I am quoting myself (it really IS lonely here tonight!). Thought I'd let you know that my mum Phoned back.....we were talking quite awhile and then she said, so how much have you got done since we've been talking? Well, the answer was ZÉRO! She couldn't believe that while we were chatting, I had to finish giving my son his supper because he had woken up from his nap, then sit on the couch with him, then figure out the remote situation for the computer/tv so he could watch it while I was busy on the phone....then the cat jumped in my lap wanting attention..... Actually, it's not so lonely now!
