Hi: This is my first post. I finished the left border, attached it to my afghan, and draped it on the loveseat to admire it. My dog, Phoebe, jumped on the sofa and found a nice spot to take a nap.

Beautiful! Your dog approves. The border looks great

Here is my border so far. I have the raised stitches/cable effect going on too. I think it's because the jersey stitch next to the purls of the seed stitch want to act like a ribbing. I like it!

These pictures are so pretty! I can't wait to get started on my border. Just two more squares to make and then putting it together :inlove: I can't wait!

for those of you who have started the border... Is it knitting up quickly? I will be finishing seaming today and plan to start the border at my knitting group this evening. But knowing I am on the eve of another clue I am wondering how long last weeks clue is going to take me to get caught up. Thanks!
p.s. rough estimations are fine I know we all knit at different speeds. I am just looking for if it is quick or a little slower b/c pattern requires a fair amount of attention (think week 3 six row repeat that kept throwing me for a personal loop!)

I don't think I am a fast knitter. It took me roughly about 8 to 10 minutes per 14 rows and I needed 22 repeat. So almost 4 hours per side ;) Hope this answer your questions. I wonder how others are doing?? :hrmm:

Your afghan looks fabulous and Phoebe looks so peaceful on it. I am hoping to keep my Beagle, Buddy off of mine when it is completed because he is such a robust shedding machine. Unfortunately, in reality, that may not be possible. :bravo:
