Two more lovely finished KAL! Different motif arrangements and both so pretty.
Nitwit's is the blanket with the blue and pink colors. Her friend Vicky knitted the green/rust tone blanket.

The forum is my FAVORITE part of the project! I plan on sticking around here, and keeping our forum active with smaller KALs and CALs until it's time for another big event. I hope the rest of you will stick around as well.

This is fantastic news!! I may not do all the mini KALS, still have to finish the main one, but I do love the forum. I have learned, and continue to learn so much from all of you.

I'm going to start some of the mini KALS too so I'll be here....

The KAL yielded a much nicer, more attractive blanket than the CAL. These knitted blankets you've all made are beautiful!

I agree with this comment. I wandered over from the CAL to see what the KAL looked like. I like my CAL blanket ok. It was fun doing it, and especially since I was really working sometimes to keep up with the clues. I found the border of the CAL disappointing and now I'm trying to work up a real border for it that works.

I wish I knew how to knit. Well... I mean I do, but it's SO TIME CONSUMING compared to my speed at crochet.. so I get frustrated and pick up my hooks.

These blankets are all just gorgeous. Really really nice work and excellent color choices. The design has a nice southwest feel, but color choices can make it have a completely different look. Beautiful!

Maybe I will try a KAL on a small project and see if my speed improves. As it stands I only know one or two stitches in Knit.

It is interesting to me to read how some of us are preferring the KAL or CAL over the other. Back when we were making the weekly clues, the KAL members were complaining about the easy patterns - wishing that they were doing the CAL instead, because the clues were more interesting. Now, it seems that the tables have turned.
