I posted my mystery afghan photo about a week and a half ago and have not been back on the forum since as my nephew (I am his guardian) has been declining rapidly with pneaumonia. They can no longer treat him as no antibiotics are working anymore. Anyway so many more beautiful afghans have been done. I am impressed by the beautiful colors and work you all have done.

Someone asked how wide I made my border on the top and bottom and you probably have done something by now and I am sorry I wasn't able to get back and answer your question. I have noticed that several have done wider borders also. I made mine a total of 16 rows in case anyone is still wanting to know. Also here is a photo of the alternate top and bottom border I worked up. I pinned it over my border I have already done on it. I never worked the seed stitch border past the other part as I was low on yarn but I thought I would do the same wideth on top as the sides had. I have bought yarn to make one of these afghans for my eldest daughter for Christmas so I plan on incorporating this border on it.
