Knit-Along: Finished Blanket Photos

Here is my blanket, stuck to the Bernat layout however I ended up doing the lacy border on all four sides. Really pleased with it. Changed one of my colours, the blue was originally done in Gypsy Gold but I didn't like it. Much prefer the blue.

It's so pretty looks like a loved quilt:)

So bright and cheery! The blue was an excellent choice.

hello KAL participants! Just popped in from the CAL and want to congratulate all of you on your beautiful afghans!!! I am a knitter as well and just have to start this after my CAL is finished seaming together. but I am first and foremost a quilter and just love the quilt look of the KAL. Now the fun part - going shopping for yarn!!!

Yessssss! it is finished, I made a little changes and my son just love it. He said that it has a medieval look which fits his tastes.

Just beautiful, lialab! Well done! It's great to finally see the finished product!
I am still out there - was away for a few days and then got a little flu....
Top border is almost finished and then just the bottom to go!

I finished my blanket and my son has taken it for the family room. He says its so soft. This has given me the incentive to work on a crochet blanket I started last winter but could not finish...

Hee hee. I have already started using mine, and it's not even quite finished yet! It was great for the car trip last Friday and kept me warm. I cuddle up under it while working on the top and bottom borders.... final photo soon! Maybe this weekend....

I thought the forum was definitely half the fun of the Mystery Afghan.

The forum is my FAVORITE part of the project!
I plan on sticking around here, and keeping our forum active with smaller KALs and CALs until it's time for another big event. I hope the rest of you will stick around as well.

This is fantastic news!! I may not do all the mini KALS, still have to finish the main one, but I do love the forum. I have learned, and continue to learn so much from all of you.

Just getting caught up on reading - I plan to be around too for more projects. What will be fun is that we'll meet up again here and there and recognize people we've met here. This is so fun, and I know I certainly have spent as much time or even more on the forum than I have knitting!

I like the rib for the top and bottom border - that is original and a very good idea.
I hope to be back next year too. I have soooooo many things to finish knitting between now and then, I'll have to knit all year long! (But I'm not upset about that at all.....)
