I love all the pictures of the finished afghans. They are beautiful. I am trying desperately to finish my afghan. I have been dealing with extremely dry and cracked hands, making it hard to knit. (Lovely Alberta Weather..LOL) Then I finally start to make head way (3 Clue 3 squares and 2 Clue 4 Squares to go) and then I go and spill a full glass of red wine (yes, RED wine) all over 1 square and the entire ball of yarn. Unfortunately my colors do not include red. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I decided to laugh. Now after a few days of non-knitting, I have decided to continue and accept what ever it looks like, well thats what it will be. Everytime I look at that afghan, it will remind me to not drink wine while knitting or at least drink wine out of a sippy cup.

This mystery knit-along/forum is a new experience and it has been great. Thank you. I have enjoyed learning how to knit including the lingo, learning new computer skills and meeting new friends. Even though I have not contributed to the forum until tonight, I have read most of the posts and they have been invaluable.

The afghans are beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I am looking forward to the next one :)

I have one border almost ready for attaching, and can not wait, took a little time to piece together my CAL, and so now I have 2 afghans ready for borders, and will post the complete works soon. Have really enjoyed seeing all the completed blankets, and encourage me to work more!!! :knit: :knit: :knit:

I love all the finished afghans since my last post last week. :bravo: Very beautiful colors and layouts. Yesterday I took my mystery afghan to my knit/crochet class I teach. They were amazed and excited about it and some even wanted to do one now also. Maybe I can get them in on the next mystery afghan. I have bought yarn and have 3 squares finished :knit: for my second one that I am doing for my eldest daughter for Christmas. Plan on making one for her husband also but possibly making it one square longer. He is 6'5" or 6'6" tall. If the forum is still open when I finish I will post photos of them also. For those of you who are still working, I am anxious to see your afghans as you finish them. Keep up the good work. By the way, I have been knitting for 52 years and still learned something new with this mystery afghan. :knit: I had never done a knit below before and hadn't even heard of such a thing in all my years. Thanks Bernat for this forum.

My finished afghan. Willow, bark, colonial beige, sun drift, Greek sea. I originally had irish moss but it was too green so switched to willow.
