Wow! These all look so wonderful! I'm impressed by what a difference is made by the variation in colour and switching up the layout! Life got in the way of my knitting for a few weeks, so am still on Clue 3 - but I've picked up my sticks again and am working away steadily. (And to think I thought I could get two done!) I'm really encouraged by these photos to finish mine up!

Wedding Blanket

Postby greenknight76 » Wed Apr 25, 2012 6:34 pm

Here's my finished project. I'm giving it to my niece for her wedding.

I liked the pattern for the border and thought it would make a nice afghan of strips on its own.

beautiful colours! I don't think I've seen this colour combo yet. I really like how the yellow stands out as an accent colour :cloud9:

Just post your photo right here with the rest of the finished blanket photos.
Others will see your blanket, and will nominate you if they like your blanket.

You can also nominate yourself, if you feel your blanket is worthy of an award.
You will find all the different categories here:

Finally Finished!!!

Postby BusyBeeKnitter » Thu Apr 26, 2012 10:13 am

Finally finished and I hope- figured how to post a picuture !!! Really enjoyed the KAL A first time adventure- learned a lot of new stitches and ways of knitting. A challenge since I am left handed. I did several modifed verisons. Thanks to those who really inspired me - by using the borders on all sides. I worked out a patttern to knit on the top and bottom borders using the 189 stitches. Really enjoyed the KAL. The color I used were aqua frost, greek sea, blue gown, butter and birch white. Really enjoyed seeing all the great blankets -great colors and workmanship!
