This was so much fun. I can't wait to do the next 2. I learned so much; the importance of gauge/tension, my first time sewing pieces together, many new stitches, first time knitting diagonally, and many many more things. Thank you to Bernat for hosting and providing such great instructions. The Waverly yarn is awesome to work with and because it is machine washable the afghans will make great Christmas gifts for my sons and their young families!

Hi: Love your colors. The off white really frames the blanket. I agree--the waverly yarn is wonderful, soft, pliable, and easy to use and care for. Hooray for Bernat. And congratulations on your finished blanket. Better get started on those Christmas gifts.

Here is my finished blanket. That went really fast. I am really happy with my finished design. I decided to go with my own because I thought it worked best with the colors i chose. Now I am going to do the Crochet mystery, but I will do it at my own pace just for fun. Can't wait for the next Mystery Knit along. Happy Easter!

Hi everyone: I am posting two photos. I'm not the greatest photographer and I took these with my cell phone. There is one with my dog, Phoebe, who loves this afghan. Another photo shows almost the whole thing--except for one corner. I am glad it's finished, but will miss the "mystery" each week. When will we have another one to work on? Happy Easter everyone!

Well, there's a little 6 inch hedgehog pattern I found the other day that is knit in three of the colors I have leftover from the KAL so I might as well do a little fun toy!

It looks great. I love the border done in the cream. Reminds me of an Irish sweater .
