I went with a different yarn as I wanted to do both the Crochet and Knit A Longs at the same time and in the same colors to match each other on our couch. When I went to the store, they were very limited on the color selections so I went with mostly nuetrals with a punch of orange. I am OK with the way it came out but wished I had picked different colors. The colors remind me of 70s colors - rust, brown, orange. Maybe it will look better when I paint the family room green (main color).
I really enjoyed the final product but didn't really enjoy knitting each square. I also changed the layout slightly and the top/bottom borders. For the top/bottom borders, I adapted the side borders to lean in/out from the center. The blanket is really warm and long enough to completely cover my 6ft husband.
