Love the afghan. The colors are really pretty. That came out really good.

Very beautiful! They look like southwestern colors, almost a Navajo blanket. Great job!

I have been lurking since this started and finally decided to post something - my finished blanket photo.
I went with a different yarn as I wanted to do both the Crochet and Knit A Longs at the same time and in the same colors to match each other on our couch. When I went to the store, they were very limited on the color selections so I went with mostly nuetrals with a punch of orange. I am OK with the way it came out but wished I had picked different colors. The colors remind me of 70s colors - rust, brown, orange. Maybe it will look better when I paint the family room green (main color).

I really enjoyed the final product but didn't really enjoy knitting each square. I also changed the layout slightly and the top/bottom borders. For the top/bottom borders, I adapted the side borders to lean in/out from the center. The blanket is really warm and long enough to completely cover my 6ft husband.

I finally finished yesterday! I had fun making it! Will do it next year, possibly in crochet! Actually it looks
more country than it does in the picture because the gold looks yellow, but I'm happy with the result.
The only problem I had was with clue #3 I ended up doing 16 squares and with tan and gold it wasn't my favorite
colors to use, in the end I'm Pleased. Thanks to Bernat for the experience! :cooldude:

Everyones' afghans looks great! I finally finished my last square and will be finished sewing it together today. I doubt I'll be finished in time to enter the contest. Two jobs and an 8 year old with homework, sports and others needs gets in the way of knitting most days.
