I have some boo-boo's in my blanket and my sewing skills are not really good. I thought I was too old to learn to knit at 56 years young, but found it so much fun! I plan on doing more of the smaller Bernat projects so that by next year my knitting skills will be much better I hope. I am a little embarrassed
to post the picture of my blanket as it is no where near as pretty and neatly stitched as the other beautiful blankets I have seen. Since I am laid off from work now I will have time on my hands to really get better knitting skills. My husband and two (college-aged) sons helped me work out the blocks to get a different pattern than the initial instructions. Here is my first attempt at knitting with boo-boo's and all, but I loved every minute.

They are all so beautiful, Each time I look at them a different one is my favourite.
I am going to give my one to my little 2 year old great granddaughter.
annie818 wrote:I agree too, it is so nice to see all of the beautiful blankets together. A lot of hard work and lots of love went into each one. Thank you for posting them all together to see. It is sure going to be hard to pick a winner in each category as they are all so very pretty. After seeing all the color choices, it makes me want to do another one with some of the colors that I have seen. Just beautiful!

I think you did an AMAZING job on your very first knit project. You should be VERY proud!

Enjoy!
