I just thought of something to do while I'm waiting for the first clue. I'm going to crochet this Cottage Bag: http://www.sugarncream.com/pattern.php?PID=2413. I have some Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Scents in Chamomile, but I think it's very similar to Sugar and Cream, although the yardage is different. It's an easy pattern, so by the time the first clue is published, I should have a big, new bag to carry all my Waverly around in. Does anyone know if I can substitute Handicrafter for Sugar and Cream without changing the hook size?

They are both worsted weight cotton, and should work to the same gauge. Looking forward to seeing your bag!

I received my lovely, huge box of yarn yesterday! The colors are even prettier in person. I haven't done a KAL for quite a long time. Can't wait to start my afghan! I'm using the "Beautiful Things" colorway.

So while I was waiting I rolled one of each color skein into balls to make sure there were no knots. I am ready to go. I will have to take a picture and post it soon.
