Still waiting for my yarn to arrive, getting a little anxious because if I don't get all the colors I ordered I'll have to go to Zellers and hopefully they'll have the colors I 'm looking for. So excited!!! :cloud9:

Mine is in the East Coast! I'm in CT. It could be here tomorrow, but I have found that as your order gets closer to you it travels slower!

Anyone ever had this problem....
I thought I would pull out one of those long forgotten unfinished projects. It was the afghan from leisure arts 555--63 pattern stitches. I found the started squares. I found the rest of the yarn. Can't find the booklet!! I may have to but a new one to use while I search. Since moving into this house my craft stuff doesn't really have a home--so bits and pieces are everywhere.

Oh, I HATE when that happens!
I have lost HOURS searching for a missing pattern before. And it's so frustrating, because everything else is ready to go.

I have a beautiful doily right now but I don't remember what size hook I was using for it so it's just sitting there. :?

My husband just laughed at me...

While searching for my previously mentioned UFO, I found an unfinished doily. It has to have been there 8 years. The hook was with it--but no pattern. I had a book and a few leaflets pulled out sitting on a table--and the doily pattern was in the book! Almost finished 1/2 of the remaining pattern!

I just received confirmation that my yarn shipped 20 minutes ago. Should be here by Saturday. I'm so excited!

Oh no!
I made the mistake of making more dishcloths for a friend once, using the wrong size hook....because I forgot to make a note of the size I used. They turned out smaller, so I just added a row of single crochet all around to get them to the same size.
