What are YOU working on to pass the time?

I posted a while ago that I'm working on a baby blanket for my cousin who had a lot of trouble conceiving. A miracle baby I believe! I took my project to work with me and my RN (Who actually had 3month premature baby) told me that the blanket I'm making is perfect for babies. It helps prevent SIDS because of the holes. Anyway enough rambling....here's my progress so far.....

Here is my latest "pass the time" project. I finished it yesterday (started it a couple of weeks ago) to wear to dinner tonight for my 26th wedding anniversary. The yarn is called Jitterbug and the color name is Java Plum.

I have several "pass the time" projects going at the moment -
1. ripple blanket for my dad in blues/white
2. ripple bags x 3
3. ripple tea cosy
4. the CAL on this site.

PS: do you think I like ripples a bit?? I didn't realise until I wrote that little list just now that I might just have a teeny tiny little obsession with ripples. .

As well as crochet, I also do papercrafts, sew, quilt when I have the time, teach knitting/crochet, teach cardmaking, and design for an online scrapbook shop.

Ha ha - like I need something to 'pass the time' hehehehe!!!!

I love all your projects that you are working on. What an inspiration this forum is. Don't know how I didn't find it sooner

I must have at least a dozen partially finished projects but that is never going to stop me from buying more yarn. I imagine many of you can relate!

not me. i always finish EVERYTHING before I buy more. really.

which is why my yarn stash has overflowed the 3 drawer organizer I originally bought for it....and the 5 drawer one I bought to catch the overflow....and has taken over half our bedroom. ok not half. about 10%.

LOVE the comic!!! I am using some yarn for my second CAL that was originally for something else & I changed my mind...lol And, don't let me near the comp or a store with yarn on sale!! Just cant help myself...as many of you can understand!!!

What fun this CAL is ... I am really enjoying the activity ... but also have within reach at my 'nest' (read reclining chair) an Aran-type sweater for my grandson, 2 pairs of Kroy self-striping socks, one for my granddaughter and the other my daughter (each is in a small easily portable bag ready to go in the car with me as I wait as my husband shops!), an assortment of left over worsted weight yarn to be crocheted into Granny Squares for assembly into lap/baby afghans to be sent to Canada Comforts for distribution in Third World countries, as well as cotton dishcloths for CC to be used as birthing cloths, also abroad. I also have my current book (this one is Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson) ... should I also add that I am retired??!!

Your recliner & it's surroundings sounds exactly like mine!! People swear things could get lost in there....sometimes they do!! Just add some paperwork for my student I tutor...and the weekly ads frrom the newspaper. It gets scary beside my chair. I clean it once every couple of months...when the pile gets even with the arm of my chair...lol
