Pictures of 2 bracelets I finished for a friend this week. I was sick but did the motifs (for 2), these, 3 cross stitch greeting cards, a pair of earrings, almost done with a ROSARY Bracelet...and I think that is it...lol Not sure if that is all or not...had the flu :(

these are beautiful!
I hope you feel better soon!

Type1Mom wrote:I love seeing what everyone is working on. Thought I would post the almost finished afghan from the square I posted earlier. Took me working on it off and on all weekend, but I got all 63 squares pieced together and now am working on the border. The pattern calls for only two of the colors in the border, but I have enough yarn of each left to add all four colors to the border.

Type1Mom, I love your aghan and your color choices are wonderful!

Can you please tell me where I can get the pattern? I would love to make one when I get a chance.
Happy knitting and crocheting!!

See if you can get it from my Pinterest link (http://pinterest.com/pin/93731235964599851/)

If that doesn't work, I'll send it to you in a private message. I would post the direct link, but it's not a Bernat pattern and the other yarn brand name is in the link.

so sitting on the couch this am, thinking about the clue coming out, working on my Mandala blanket (the orange one), and I got to thinking :hrmm: ....this is ALWAYS dangerous. :scared:

broomstick lace. overlapping rows, really long loops. worked in the round. will look like a succession of interlocking petals.

i spent the next 90 minutes (with a 5 yr old nagging me and work sitting there undone) with 2 different colors, trying to put what was in my head into yarn. So far I have ideas, but it's not QUITE what I had in mind. If i pull it off, it will be SUCH an awesome pattern....hard as all heck, but it'll be gorgeous.

anyway, just had to share that with you. If i can get it to work, i'll post a picture. Of course, I have 4 other "patterns" that came to me in my head right now, so I'll see when I get to it.

a first, very sloppy, with random contrasting colors, attempt to do what I have in my head......I'll try another one later when I'm not so distracted by other stuff. but.....i dunno. if i can just get it the way i want, it will look way cool.
