What part of the row are you stuck? I will try to help...

I am stuck on the *Ch 5. [(Yoh) twice. Draw up a loop in next st. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice] twice. Yoh and draw through all 3 loops on hook – tr2tog made. Rep from * to last sc. Ch 3. 1 tr in last sc. Turn.

I'll be trying to keep up with my 2-yr old and studying for my college classes. No matter what your age homework is still a yucky word ;) So i'm using the CAL and other slouchy hats and beanies my friends requested me to make as my much need fiber fix and relaxation time.

I'm curently working on (my first) knitted sweater for my kids. besides that me and my sister have some assignments too each other. in themes or specific colors etc. and we do granny squares for a blanket, freeform and sometimes hats (someday when there are enough they will be donated) Then I'll do some knit/crochet projects when I feel like it :cooldude: enough to do right? ;-)

Turn.

I'll give it a try:

*Chain 5.
You will have one loop on your hook.
wrap yarn twice. This will give you 3 "loops" on hook.
put hook through SC space and draw up a loop (as to sc). This will leave you with 4 loops
wrap yarn over once and pull it through 2 loops. You should have 3 loops at this point.
wrap yarn over once and pull it through another 2 loops. Now you will have two loops left on your hook.
wrap yarn over twice, giving you 4 loops on your hook.
put hook through next SC space and draw up a loop. You should now have 5 loops on your hook.
wrap yarn over once and pull it through 2 loops. You will have 4 loops on your hook.
wrap yarn over once and pull it through another 2 loops. You will have 3 loops on your hook.
wrap yarn over once and pull through ALL 3 loops. Leaving you with one loop on your hook.

Keep doing this pattern until you have one SC space left.

Then:

Chain three.
Wrap yarn twice over hook. This will give you three loops on your hook.
put hook through last SC space and wrap yarn around hook, pulling through to give you 4 loops on your hook. Wrap yarn around again and pull hook through two of the loops on your hook. Wrap yarn around hook and pull through two more loops on hook. Wrap yarn around one more time and pull through last two loops left on hook.

Hope this helps and doesn't confuse more.

Heather

I'm a bit of a dabbler, so I've been working on a Dresden Plate quilt, knitting a few dish cloths, a few pairs of earrings, learning about my new kiln that my husband bought me, learning about glass fusing, chasing 3 dogs and a 19 month old little boy. I have plenty to occupy my time between clues!!!

After just coming back from browsing the finished KAL squares, I am almost tempted to go buy some more yarn and do the KAL too!! I'm new to the knitting thing, but I've mastered increases, decreases, and knitting on the diagonal....changing colors is still something that confuses me but I guess practice makes perfect. I'll ponder it and may wait till the CAL is finished and then try the KAL...not sure yet. Oh, and I found my camera so I'll be able to post pics soon!!!!

I am glad I'm not the only one with several projects lined up. This is my first CAL so I am super excited. I have a star blanket I'm working on, I have a another blanket for my Mom that I am working on and I have a scarf on my knitting needles that I really need to try to finish. I gusess you can say I'm a little addicted.

Type1Mom wrote:I love seeing what everyone is working on. Thought I would post the almost finished afghan from the square I posted earlier. Took me working on it off and on all weekend, but I got all 63 squares pieced together and now am working on the border. The pattern calls for only two of the colors in the border, but I have enough yarn of each left to add all four colors to the border.

It is beautiful. What is the pattern name or did you make it up?
