mother/daughter time

I'm excited to be doing this CAL. I did one last year and enjoyed it so much. my mother taught me to crochet when I was young and now it is something we do together every week. its nice to have a hobby that I can share with my mom.when I found out about this years CAL, I got my mom interested. now we have a project that we can both do, but end up with our own afghans of different color schemes. it is just one more thing we can share together!

thank you! actually it was quite fun! for years I've always run to her screaming for help on what I did wrong, but last night she was like, ok seriously, wht did I do wrong. haha so funny!

that is so cool. my mom also learned me how to crochet a long time ago and all she does is double crochet and granny squares now, i tried to get her to do the cal but she says she cannot do it. i wanted to sit down and make the first one while she did it so i could help her but she just wont do it.

I crochet with my mom all the time. It is great to be able to spend time together doing something we both love to do.
