It took me a few hours but I finally came up with my colours:
MC: Sundrift
A: Bark
B: Beautiful Blue
C: Bitter Rose
D: Willow
This combo should match most of my living room. I'm excited to see it all put together!

Okay, I'm taking the plunge... 1st time I've ever done anything like this ( CAL, Crochet Forum, etc.). I am SUPER excited though & I think this will be a fun project!

I just bought my yarn, so now I'm totally committed.
Main Color- Irish Moss
Accent Colors- Birch White
Bitter Rose
Porcelein Red
Pink Suede

I am really looking forward to this experience & only slightly scared/ freaking out!

I only found out about the last CAL near the end and have been waiting for a new one to start. My 11 yr old daughter helped me pick out colours this afternoon and I ordered them right away - otherwise I might change my mind a dozen times.

MC - Willow
A - Pink Suede
B - Porcelain Red
C - Incense
D - Sundrift

Now I guess I should finish up some WIPs. I also joined a sock club that starts around the same time. So many great things to look forward to!

I did it :bravo: had to force myself to quit looking at the colors since each time I did starting trying new ones... so I bit the bullet, got it over it, and order my colors. Now I can relax (not really cause now I am too anxious to start) and be ready. Is it time yetttttt??????? lol
Happy Crocheting,

After reading through this thread, I think I may just go with one color since it was mentioned that for the crochet version, this would work!! Now to decide which one color I want!

My living room is also in shades of brown. I love the calmness and richness of this look. I chose the following colors for my afghan:

Main Color: 55615 Sundrift
Contast A: 55145 Blue Gown
Contrast B: 55014 Stone Brown
Contrast C: 55101 Colonial Beige
Contrast D: 55530 Tibetan Red

To mind mind (with some help from the color tutorial) these colors will coordinate with the room, but also add a spark of spice. Does anyone agree? Disagree?
