Finally chose and ordered my colours, and decided on the CAL first (KAL will have to wait... I'm more experienced at knitting, so I wanted to push myself, hopefully lots of support will be available for when I get overly confused :idonno: )

So I decided on:
MC Sundrift
A Pink Suede
B Bitter Rose
C Porcelain Red
D Irish Moss
(I love pinks/reds and am not the biggest fan of greens, but it will make a nice accent)

My yarn came today and I love my choices and can't wait to get started! I was worried my contrast D would be too close in color to the MC but they aren't and it will be perfect!

MC - Sundrift, A - Tibetan Red, B - Colonial Beige, C - Aqua Frost, D - Celadon
Any suggestions for different colors or, perhaps rearrangements of the existing colors?

I think the two greens might clash a bit, but that's just my personal opinion.

Well, /I wound up choosing Sundrift, Tibetan Red, Antique, Greek Sea, ands Black. They arrived yesterday and OMG, they're gorgeous!!! The colors match my decor perfectly! Can't wait to get started. Um, so when does it start? :)

Oh, I'm so glad your colors worked out well! :cloud9:
Our first clue will be released on Feb 15th, so we have LOTS of time to dream about our blanket.

I'm using the time to work on some lingering projects in my craft room.
And I even started a new one this week! I'm knitting a tie for a good friend.
