Hi Jeannie! :D
Your colors look primary as well. If you go with green, I think two of the greens would work well with that Palette. Either Celadon or Turtle Green. The Celadon adds a brightness, and would work as your pop color. Turtle Green settles in nicely with the rest, and would cause the butter yellow to work better as the pop color.

Keep in mind, that I am NOT a designer, and these are just my opinions. ;)

Went to ACMoore and looked at the colors. Definitely prefer the butter to gypsy gold. So my definite colors are Navy as the main color with Butter and Incense. They didn't have turtle green or cadet blue. The stone brown did
look better with the group with the gold gone. Bliss blue or aqua frost looked like they might make a nice contrast to my 3 definite colors. I'm going to see if I can get my computer to work(been on the fritz) to play wih the palette tool.

BTW--my daughter was the first to nix the gypsy gold. She is 7. She said--you know me mom, I'm not that fond of brown and it has too much brown in it. She recommended the butter and I had to agree!

I am so excited to do this mystery project. It looks like a lot of fun. PaulaG and I are going to be doing our projects together for our "Girls Day Out". We went together tonight and found our yarn on sale and had a great time deciding what colors to put together.

These are the colors I picked:
Classic Navy (main color)
Tibetan Red
Butter
Antique
Birch White

Can't wait to get started.

Those look fun together. Bliss Blue is not a color in the Waverly line, so I left it out.

Oh, I really love the colors you chose for the crochet blanket. DREAMY! :inlove:
And you have a nice contrast going for the knitted blanket. Good choices!

I meant breath of blue...
I may do a 360 switch. My daughter loved the mauve color, so I may do this one for her with mauve glow as the main princess, Fresh flower, birch white, and either breath of blue or Blue gown as the contrast. She doesn't like Celedon. Amazing that I agonize over colors for weeks and she could pick out what she wants in 10 minutes.
