I'm doing both and can hardly wait to get started! My yarn came yesterday and the colors on the bernat website are spot on! :bravo: I'm doing the KAL for a masculine bedroom for someone whose favorite color is blue - I'm doing Antique as the main color withTibetan Red, Cadet, Classic Navy and Stone Brown.

The CAL is for my study which is in dark green and burgandy florals with darker wood furniture. I chose sundrift for the main color with pink suede, Incense, Bitter Rose, and Willow. Let the countdown begin!! :knit:

Ok.. I'm sufficiently confused. The list says five colors, but some people have six. Is Contrast A my main color?? Or do I need a main color and then five contrasts?? Help!!

So I got my yarn. And the Willow, Irish Moss and Turtle Green are gorgeous, but way to similar. I wnt to my LYS and got Celadon and that pairs well with the Turtle Green. So I will be putting those in my CAL blanket
CAL: Bitter Rose, Princess, Stone Brown, Turtle Green, Celadon

I will probably use the Irish Moss with my KAL colors:
Sundrift, Tibetan Red, Gypsy Gold, Stone Brown, Irish Moss.

but...I have a ball of navy in a different brand for a differant project. It some how creeped close to my KAL stash and looks beautiful. I just may get some Classic Navy for that. hmmmm.

So Willow is now a future scarf. And Irish Moss is in the hot seat. What to do, what to do? :hrmm:

I'm planning on doing both KAL & CAL. I just received my order today. I'm using the same colors for both, but will probably switch around the order of the contrast colors.

Main color will be Willow - 55255
contrasts will be: Irish Moss - 55250, Antique - 55011, Bitter Rose - 55425, & Colonial Beige - 55010.

They are all muted earth tones, which I tend to decorate in.
