Afghan Shades - Color Selection

I'm planning on doing both KAL & CAL....Main color will be Willow - 55255
contrasts will be: Irish Moss - 55250, Antique - 55011, Bitter Rose - 55425, & Colonial Beige - 55010.

Today was yarn day again. The yarn for my now CAL came. I really love the turtle green. It exactly my favorite shade of green. The other colors will be stone brown as main, with incense, Irish moss and colonial beige. I will probably keep this one for myself.

I have a sofa and loveseat in camel with tapestry cushions, and dark wood antique morris type chairs with olive green velvet cushions. I want to brighten it up a bit, so I am doing the CAL in the following colors: A: Gypsy Gold, B: Bark, C: Turtle Green, D: Stone Brown, E: Porcelain Red

For my living room, I have a tapestry sofa with brocade in dark red, beige, black, taupe. I also have a large leather chair and ottoman that will get the KAL afghan on it in the following colors: A: Incense, B: Sun Drift, C: Bark, D: Celadon (coordinates with the family room, and this chair is visible from there), E: Black

Interesting choices! They both offer nice, rich coloring.

I love the choices for your living room. If I decide to do a second I may have to copy your colors!

I am so excited to try this. I have been knitting for years but have not tried any online kal....ordered my yarn on Friday. Can't wait for this to start.

You can't possibly be the most indecisive person, because I am! Choosing yarn color is always a HUGE decision for me. And I even second guess myself once I start knitting - it's terrible! Let's hope I like my combo that's sitting here waiting for the first KAL clue!
