When the wrong image went up it replaced the existing one on the server. Shandeh's totals are right.

When you got the email it had the right totals - up until last week, that email showed the right totals. We're sorry it's wrong now, and Jen's updating it as I type this, but as long as you ordered the yarn before last week you got the right amount.

You will need to look in the "One Stop Reference" thread for either KAL or CAL depending on which project you are doing. The clues will be released at 10:00 am EST. Let's just hope their server does not crash.

Hi There!

Just found out about the KAL, would love to participate but i am in the middle of an afghan and i dont think I will finish on time to start. Because im new to knitting I really don't want to start a new progect before I finish the one i am working on. Can you tell me when the next one is as I can plan better to participate.

I received a few questions via email:

Could you polease explain to me how the clues work? Are they lines, rows, hints, etc.

The blanket is motif-based, so each clue is a different motif that you will knit/crochet. Most clues require you to knit or crochet several of the same pattern (for example, knit 6 of this clue - 2 in Contrast A, 2 in Contrast B, 2 in Contrast C)

when does the KAL end?

The final clue will be released on April 11th, but we'll continue to show off the finished blankets and discuss our progress after that.

would I need to check the KAL site every week or would I receive emails notification when a new clue is posted?

To receive each clue you'll need to come visit the Bernat Forums (here) on Wednesdays after 10am, starting February 15th. You won't get any special email notification.
