I was (still am) excited about the CAL but, wow, I have been swamped at work and home and haven't even started Clue 1 or 2 and now 3 is on the way!! I hope I can catch up. Work always gets in the way...so annoying..LOL!

Re: Long needles? Circulars?

I can't remember the last time I used straight needles. I have loads of them but much prefer circular needles. I don't knock them into the arms of my chair like I do with straight ones.

Printout - Hard to read

Postby Sami » Wed Feb 29, 2012 12:31 pm

My eyesight is far from perfect and I do most of my knitting at night. I'm finding the printouts difficult to read as they are in shades of grey rather than black on white. Even on screen while easier to see it is still hard for my old eyes. Is there a way to improve this for the rest of the clues?

I have had the same problem. I cut and pasted the original clue in a word document...changed the color, and size of font.

Hope this helps

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to store the clues in the "My Stuff" section with my other patterns? i can already tell that I would like to reuse some of the motifs in other projects. Would make referencing them in the future very convenient. :helpme: Thanks.

I bought 13 balls of Bernat yarn for the crocheted afghan. 5 of the main color and 2 each of contrast colors A, B, C and D. Did I do this right? So far the clues only talk about using the main color and contrast A, B and C. I'm not sure if there is a contrast color D for this afghan or not. Should I buy more yarn and if so of what contrast colors? Please HELP!

You bought the correct yarn, yes. Color D is our "Accent" color and is used least of all. I'm looking forward to seeing where it will fit in!
