Re: weave in ends on block 1?

I found a large shoe box (my son has size 12 feet) and was very dutifully weaving in all the ends before allowing myself to consider them finished so I could put them in the box. I guess I will be weaving in all the ends since I was to excited to get started and didn't read all the instructions first

Not right now. But eventually, the pattern might be available in PDF form, like the 2009 Mystery Blanket. Then, you would be able to add it to your "My Stuff" on the Bernat site.

Re: Printout -Shades of grey

There is a text only version of the clue that is in black and white. It is two links after the original pattern on the weekly clue thread.
Clue 1: 5 of 8 completed, may re-do 2
Clue 2: 3 of 4 completed
Clue 3: 5 of 8 completed, will re-do 1

Thankyou for the suggestions, I will use the print only version next time. Finshed a square and a half last night for clue #3 despite having to squint a bit until I got the pattern down pat.

Clues print too pale

Postby MartyB » Thu Mar 01, 2012 5:06 pm

I have been printing the CAL clues on my color printer at home. The second page always prints fine, but the instructions on the first page are very pale gray. My ink cartridges are not low. Do any of you know how to make them print darker or can the original files be made to use a darker font color before they are posted here? My old eyes are getting tired of the strain!!!

We have just replaced all of the files with an easier-to-read version. If you download the clue again AND MAKE SURE YOU REFRESH (hit F5 or the refresh button on your browser) you should see the new version

How does this mystery afghan work?

Postby Joette » Fri Mar 02, 2012 1:43 pm

I'm totally confused about this mystery afghan! I searched the free patterns and found one called Satin-Mystery Afghan. It calls for 3 colors. Now I'm looking at the clues and it uses more than 3 colors. Am I looking at last year's pattern? Help! :)
