I'm so excited to hopefully get to participate in the CAL. I've never participated in one before and hope I can come up with some extra cash to purchase some yarn. The 25% off really helps in this matter!!! I truly hope it works out so that I can play along. I'm always up for new patterns and ideas.

First time for me too...maybe we can make this the "newbie" section...lol. I was thrilled to see the email about this today because I always seem to miss these CAL when they start and when I do get in I can already see most of the pattern and I don't want to start so late

But now we can all start this new one together!!!

I hope this goes through as I've never posted to a forum before. My 94 year old mother is going to participate in the mystery KAL...she knits daily (usually afghans) and was very excited when I explained about this project. I'm going to show her the available colors tomorrow so she can select her palette.

That's so awesome! I hope that I can knit soon. I have been crocheting for just over a year and I'll be turning 26 right before we start so I am hoping to get some yarn for my birthday! This is the first CAL I have ever done but I am super excited! Good luck to you and your mother! Have a blast!
