Hey all sorry life has gotten pretty busy the last month. The nephew was born and racing season has started as well as kitchen install and orders. I still have a video I need to upload and I need to finish the hat too. It's still been cooler here so it will still come in handy plus who doesn't new a hat for those I don't wanna do my hair days

I still need to start my hat. Like you, some days, I just don't feel like doing my hair. A hat like this would be great to pop on when running out to the store, or to run other errands. Looking forward to seeing your video!

It took me a while to find one, because I like using thick handled, ergonomic hooks. I found a nice one by The Crochet Dude, which has a nice, thick, blue, soft handle.

I just bought a plastic Red Heart hook from walmart. I crochet so fast with the larger hooks that my hand doesn't have a chance to start hurting. Unfortunately Walmart did not have any softee chunky, so I have more shopping to do.

Boooooo! After going out and buying a brand new shiny M hook, the hat's too big and I have to use an L or maybe even a K after all. Fun hat though, I can't wait to be able to wear it!!!

Darn it! I have another complaint. I need more than one skein of this yarn, even though I have to use a smaller gauge. Good thing Michael's is pretty close.
