Needed to use some of my cotton yarn and this thread inspired me. Made some washcloths for my daughter. She's 4 & LOVES pink. The top two are knit waffle stitch, and the other is crochet.

I love you work. GREAT JOB. I love pink too. I know your daughter will love them. I have 2 daughters, and I make stuff for them, they love it. I makes me feel good, to know I made something special for them.

Well I decided to try one of the chrysanthemum dishcloths while I'm helping out my mother-in-law with some of the yarn I'm using for a mermaid tears purse for my daughter and granddaughter.

She loves it! But she says it's too pretty to use as a dishcloth so here's what it's being used for.

Love your color choices. I don't blame her, it is to pretty to use in the kitchen. That's a great idea.

Looks beautiful!
Casting off or Binding Off has a couple different options.
If you're like me, the bind off could be too tight. I'm STILL working on making my bind offs looser, even after several years of knitting.

Here is a good bind off video:

You can do it!

Maybe bind off with a larger needle?

Could you tell me, please, if by the end it will somehow flatten out and actually look like the picture? I resisted the urge to take it apart last night thinking I would come here and ask first if I should continue along my path.

I found some great videos by Mikey, that show how to make the chrysanthemum.

Thank goodness for Mikey!!! I had a problem understanding the last round so I googled for a video and found Mikey's.
