I laid mine out flat to measure it and it seems to be fitting just fine, I got the shoulder seams together and tried it on, working on the sleeves now.

Since it's a cardigan, I would measure with it hanging. But, it probably won't be much difference if it's measured while laying it flat on a table.

I finished up one skein of yarn, and made about 4 1/2 inches progress, and now I'm almost halfway through another skein. It's slow going, but looking beautiful! :D

Thanks, I think I'll measure mine hanging too. Hopefully it will turn out ok.

That's what is happening to me too. Glad to hear that I'm getting same results so far as you are. That gives me more hope that mine will be just fine! :cloud9:

Yay me! I got one of the sleeves done and seamed in... it was a lot easier than I thought it would be! I hope to be finished by the end of this weekend. :cloud9:

Y'all are doing great! I've only gotten about 6 inches done, because my rows are so wide. I'm making a size 3x for my big ol' self. It's slow work, but I'm loving the feel and shimmer of the Bernat Satin Sparkle.

I was having some trouble seeing my work in that black yarn, so I've been using my tabletop Ott light on a stool by my chair in the living room. But, I got a wonderful surprise this week at Hobby Lobby. Their Ott lights are all on clearance! I got a full size floor lamp version for $50! Now I will ALWAYS have an Ott light right beside my chair! :D

ok I am now confused...

Sleeve edging: Join yarn with sl st at side seam. Working along
foundation ch, proceed as follows
:
1st rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as sl st. *2 sc in next ch-2 sp. 1 sc in
next sc.
Rep from * around, ending with 2 sc in ch-2 sp. Join with
sl st to first sc. 36 (36-36-42-42-48) sc.

in the foundation row there are NO SC, there is a dc skip 2 and shell.... help please as I am not getting the right amount of sc around the sleeve edge.
