Just so you know, some people prefer to knit their socks inside out the whole time, then turn them right side out when they finish. There are a lot of different ways to knit socks, so have fun trying them all.

When shaping the instep, after I've decreased to the required number of stitches, and it states "Cont even until work from picked up sts measures (required) inches, does that mean that I just work the even row of instep shaping and knit until my work is the required # of sts? Also for the last part of that where it says "Next rnd: knit. dec 1 at center", what center does that mean? Thanks!!!!
