I am so glad I found this site. You have all given me the courage to design my own Christmas Afghan. I am just completing the 2009 Mystery Afghan and the entire time I have been working on it, I have been thinking about venturing out on my own. You are right Shandeh, there are many, many stitch patterns to choose from both on this site and the web. I think the spring will be a good time to design it. I already see snowflake motifs, pine tree stitches (on the Bernat directory) to start. I am so excited (and a little scared) to get going.
