I'm giving my mother yarn and needles and instructions to do a knit two purl two rib for a scarf that we will sew to make into a cowl for my daughter. It's purple and I started off the first two rows.

Okay, I know it's been a VERY LONG time since we started this craft-along. I finally got my hook and yarn going, and made a couple "Wagon Wheel" squares. THEY ARE SO FUN TO MAKE!!!
