I'm looking forward to doing this project - I've enjoyed the Mystery CAL/KAL's in the past, and can't wait for another one, because it's so fun to see what we get to work on each week. This one should be fun, too, because it's a daily dose! I like the suggestions that some of you have about doing one stripe for high temp, and one for low, as our temps vary so much. I am in Witter Springs, in Northern California. Our temps range from low 20s occasionally in the winter, to Low 100's in the summer, with everything in between. This year has been particularly strange, as we've had big swings in our temps. I haven't decided whether to do a scarf or a blanket, and I am partial to the idea of a ripple afghan for a change. I want to do both the KAL and the CAL - we have property in Battle Mountain, NV that we are hoping to move to this summer, so I may do one for that place, as it will be fun to see the differences. I think I may use stash yarn, as I have sooooo much of it, and lots of acrylics from projects that I never started. I think I will need to add another color for over 100 for both locations, maybe will add yellow in there somewhere.
