The reason mine will be long is because I'm doing the Low AND High temps each day....and I'm adding an extra two rows to show rain, snow, or lightning as it happens. I know....I'm goofy.

I am wondering....is anyone considering making a temperature afghan as opposed to a scarf? I am not much of a scarf wearer. I don't want to get myself in too deep though with immensely long rows though....![]()

Hi Lauren!
What if you make a square for each month and then seam them together in the end? Then you dont' have to worry about having to knit those long rows!

Ooooo...that's a great idea! I would love to see a Temperature Blanket like that! Every square will be a little different, and when the 12 squares are seamed together, they would look so cool!

Yes, you knit 2 rows a day, every day of the year.
You can make your scarf start today, and look up the weather in your area for temps.
Or, you can look for weather history from January 1 of this year, and make your scarf reflect every day of 2013.
