Discussion and Photos of our Works in Progress (Mar. & Apr.)

During our current KAL/CAL, you'll be working on a scarf a little bit every day for the whole year. At the end, look back and see how the weather has changed!

I've got progress photos! Whoo!

I'm enjoying my tonal scarf, but I kind of wish I'd done something a little more colorful - everybody's looks so good! Maybe I'm just bummed out because it's been so dreary and cold, leading to a fairly dark scarf so far.

It is the middle of march and here is what my march part of the scarf looks like. The green is a 53F day and the next day the teal is a 35F day. Major weather change that 24 hours period. I'm getting tired of blues. lol

Just finished January, getting started on February. Had some large chunks of some colors, the dark purple was 6 days of 81 to 85º.

After successfully posting my photo in the "How to post a photo" section, here it is in the proper section. As you can see it is using the "Toronto" colors as Massachusetts on occasion has similar weather. I did use smaller needles and am getting 8 rows to the inch. Hopefully that will shorten the length a wee bit. Quick question: Any suggestions as to a substitution for "Foliage" ? Bernat was out when I ordered on line and stores in this area do not have that color in stock.

Hi Margiet - what about Fern or Soft Fern? If you want the lighter colour, like Foliage, Soft Fern does not seem that far off.

Your scarf looks lovely!
